Location
6 Laxay is on Mackenzie Road in Laxay (Lacasaigh), 100 yards off the A859 and about 15–20 minutes’ drive south-west of Stornoway. From Tarbert on Harris it is about 35 minutes. There is off-road parking for several cars at the house.
How to Get to 6 Laxay
From Stornoway, follow the A859 towards Tarbert. You’ll go through Leurbost, and as you enter Laxay you’ll see the cemetery on your left. Carry on into the village and take the first left into Mackenzie Road, just before the top of the rise. 6 Laxay is the white house about 100 yards up the road. The drive takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
From Tarbert, turn right onto the A859 towards Stornoway. You’ll go through Balallan, and the next village is Laxay. Turn right into Mackenzie Road just after the rise in the road. The drive takes about 35 minutes.
