Set in a peaceful location just 15 minutes from Stornoway, the house offers stunning loch views, modern facilities and the perfect base for exploring both Lewis and Harris.
Sleeping up to six guests, the cottage provides spacious self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Lewis, ideal for families, couples travelling together, remote workers or longer island stays. The Beaches of Lewis & Harris
Within 50 minutes drive in different directions through stunning scenery, you can reach the beaches of Harris (including Luskentyre, Seilebost, Horgabost, Borve and Scarista), the western beaches on Lewis (Cliff, Reef, Uig and Bosta) as well the northern beaches (Traigh Mor, Tolsta). All of them are majestic – and normally quiet.
Callinish Standing Stones
Within 15 minutes you can visit the Callanish Standing Stones, an extraordinary circle of huge Lewisian gneiss rocks set on a hillside above Loch Roag. Older than Stonehenge and aligned with the movements of the moon, they were erected around 5,000 years ago and remain one of Europe’s most important prehistoric sites.

Being 15 minutes away from Stornoway means you have easy access to two good supermarkets, fishmongers and butchers – and for urgent things there is the filling station and shop 4 miles up the road at Leurbost. There is also a doctor’s surgery there too, in case anyone in your party needs medical attention.
