6 Laxay sleeps six in three double bedrooms, one of them on the ground floor beside the shower room, with oil central heating, a wood burner, Sky TV and Starlink broadband at 200 to 300 Mbps. Three Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 - Perfect for Families

6 Laxay has three double bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed and Sky TV and a second double upstairs, and a third double on the ground floor beside the shower room. A fold-up single turns the ground-floor room into a twin.

The sitting room has two sofas, a comfy chair, a wood burner and Sky TV with the full sports and movies package. Broadband is Starlink, normally 200 to 300 Mbps. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Bedrooms and bathroom

  • Shower room with a walk-in power shower, toilet and heated towel rail. There is no bath.
  • A second toilet in the utility room
  • Hairdryer

Kitchen and laundry

  • Stand-alone electric Belling cooker, microwave and air fryer
  • Fridge freezer and dishwasher
  • Kettle, toaster and cafetière
  • Cutlery, crockery, pans, baking trays and glassware
  • Washer-dryer, iron and ironing board
  • A pulley to dry clothes on the landing, and wet walking gear can go on the radiators

Living and working

  • Wood-burning stove: we supply the first basket of logs, and there are usually more in the shed. Logs need to be small.
  • Smart TVs with Sky Stream (movies and sport) in the sitting room and the master bedroom, plus Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+ and Disney+
  • A desk to work at, in the second bedroom upstairs
  • Some books to borrow

Families

  • High chair (please request in advance). There is no travel cot.

Getting in and moving around

  • Parking for several cars, with three steps (no handrail) up from the parking to the door, and an outside light
  • A handrail on the inside staircase
  • You can sleep, shower and live on the ground floor, but the house does not suit a wheelchair: there are steps to the door, and the walk-in shower has a lip a wheelchair cannot cross.

Garden Area

There is a small garden that gets the evening sun. It is fenced in and safe for children and dogs – unless your dog is a good jumper.

There is an outdoor washing line which you are free to use but we request that you don’t hang washing on a Sunday in line with local customs.
